Day 6 Saturday 15th August- Nation’s Capital

Today was started off with a visit to the White House!

Edit

There were people everywhere! But no sight of Barack Obama 😦

Not far from the White House was the Smithsonian Museum or otherwise known as the National Museum of American History.

Edit
In there was exhibitions about the history of American food, American television, American presidents, American First Ladies, Native American history and so much more!

The exhibitions were amazing! Would highly recommend to anyone who is ever in Washington.

Kermit the frog

Edit
The history of the African Amerixan Hope School.

There was no included dinner tonight so a few of us girls grabbed some Mexican food before heading back to the hotel to get ready for the night at the Irish Pub – Shenanigans.

From 9-11pm for $10 is open bar, which I’m sure most of us took full advantage of!

Edit

After a very long but absolutely top night full of team bonding, epic dancing and powerful sing alongs, the night has ended with a top Maccas feed then off to bed 🙂

xx
